Here is the problem I was talking about with the bump stop. According to all info, The 87-96 models had larger diameter mounts then the 97-01. But this one is a 95 and it has the smaller diameter mounts. Might be a thing with the 2 wheel drive XJ but i'm not sure.

Not a big deal, A quick message to Matt with BDS and a new set is on the way.

The BDS kit has these slick control arm skid plates. Really stiffen up the mounts and protect the ends.

They are weld on.

Cool pic, is this bad for the camera?

My student assistant. He wants to be a teacher when he grows up. I have him working with the 8th graders...they keep him busy. :tonka: They are building a pulling tractor also.

Got the box from BDS today. Super fast shipping for a correction. Here are the 3 bump stops. The correct one popped right in with a little help from some silicone.

Sat it on the ground. Still have lots to do. Brakes, shocks, track bar....lots. Wanted to see how high it was going to sit. Tossed some tires in the back for weight.

Now the thread is caught up to where we are.

Did you say it is being painted? If so, what color and by who?
