    We took our stock grand cherokee out there a couple years ago, no problems... mostly gravel and sandy two tracks..... I'm sure it looks a lot different now since the duck lake wildfire.

    A witness object is a semi permanent thing such as a tree, road, or large rock that is used to locate and verify the location of survey markers. The distance and direction to nearby witness objects are noted on the record of survey markers such as section corners.

    She never found the cave....and she was pissed because of that.

    She returned unharmed but glad she took the chance.

    I wondered about the witness object too! Thanks Gary for the explanation!!
