    Have you thought about making a bunch of changes to the transmission from the way that the factory originally designed it? I mean how much can professional automotive engineers really know anyway?

    ... The stock trans can handle the stock power. But the EPA fvckheads killed any dream of me keeping it stock. So bigger parts were needed.

    I think the answer is in these two posts. You need a bigger truck if you are going to beat the hell out of it. Go get yourself a GM 4500 series truck if you are going to push that much snow. Or if you're too stubburn to go pro, better buy a spare 1 ton dodge so one can be in the shop at any given time.

    Incorrect.

    The MOTOR was JUNK with all the emissions shit on it. Completely stock it spent more time at the dealership than with me. Search 6.7L cummins and you will be amazed how many people hate them because of the emissions.
