Default The "I was gonna build a Toyota" non-build

So I picked up this Toyota and had big plans. Ditch the bed, lots of tube and run it.

    So we tore into it.

    It was bad.

    And it got worse.

So then I was gonna back half it and keep going.

But I parted it all out, sold some parts, and scrapped the rest.

I actually still have both of those axles. The odd ball 2 something v8 went fastest. Then the carb, then tires and rims, then the bumpers, then the steering box and column, then whole bunch of little crap like interior stuff, tail lights, fuse box, sway bar, and junk, then springs and shocks and lift blocks, then the v8 adapter bellhousing. Then it went to scrap.

I did get a text on the axles today though. But the guy is in ludington. I have to go to Traverse on Tuesday so maybe he'll take them then.

you expected a toyota over 10 years old to have a frame that wasn't almost rusted in half?

That actually wasn't what killed the project. The frame wasn't a big deal. I was just gonna truggy it anyway. The cab was too far gone to repair.
