    Default The "Coal Troll"!

Week long turd build. Cummins, 60f , 70r, np205, dollar store green paint, old hummer 37's. Engine and axles donated by Morningwood Offroad. Ditched all the IFS shit and added some heavier parts here and there. Used the bed full of empty coke cans from the donor truck for winter traction aid!
    Heres some pics.

We threw one together for Chucky too last week. He doesn't like his though he says but strangely never shuts it off or stops driving it.

    Looks good.

But I wonder how much that half ton frame is going to like the Cummins in there.

Only the last four feet of frame is smaller behind the rear axle. I added crossmembers and rearranged some others. More than tough enough! Engine is still stock and will stay yhat way until I locate an nv5600! If it doesn't like the engine, these trucks are a dime a dozen with blown 4.7's

It's not any different than a 6.0l or any big block that people stuff into jeep frames. At least this frame is larger and stronger than the frame the cummins came out of that was originally designed for the cummins. Time will tell! Some people could fark up a skidder if they wheeled one and others could wheel an electric wheel chair and keep it all together.

Just saying something to keep an eye on. I would love to put a Cummins in my 1/2 ton, just can't justify doing it when the 5.2 still runs good.

Side note, what did you do with the old 1/2 ton wheels. I always liked that style and am looking for a set.

Damn, I looked at your location and realized that would be a long haul just for wheels and tires.
