    Default front winch bumper

    i got a winch this summer and im looking at mounting it, but need a new bumper. so i dont know what style to go with so i want your opinion

    first what im starting with.

    this is my range how it sits now



    now the different kind of tube bumpers







    or a solid bottom with some tube







    im not sure what to go with input would be nice to see what your ideas are

    4in BDS lift 31X10.50 15"

    I mounted mine behind the grille between the frame rails using plate. Worked out very well. Plenty strong, easily accessible, and protected.

    I would advise getting one where you can easily see the windings on the winch. You also need easy access to the clutch lever and the electrical commector.

    This ^^^^^ it is nice to be able to see the cable when spoiling it back up after using it. I have never seen a cable that did not need respooled...

    I have no issues seeing the winch spool or getting to the clutch lever with my setup. The electrical connections would require the removal of the grille, but I haven't had to do that after two years of use so far.

    Fabfours has heavyduty bumpers though they are a bit pricey.
