That's a long time from now. It's on the list of things to do, you know, the one that changes daily. The wife's gotta work that weekend so she won't be making plans for us to be elsewhere. Right now it looks good to go.

We are planning on coming out. Will probably have some chili but won't have the Jeep. So, it won't be a long time standing around.

yah, this is just an unformal get together of people who all happen to be going there on the same day and may just bring lunch with them and could possibly have some extras to share.

I'm only about 10 miles from the Mounds. We got a ton of rain last night and warm temps---was close to 50 this morning now temps are falling. It was sleeting/raining this morning and about an hour ago it did a great attempt at a snow globe. Big flakes, and lots of them only to merely dust the ground.

They are saying it will get a bit colder, so I'm guessing the Mounds are gonna be a frozen/muddy mess. Not sure what condition it was in prior to last night's rain, but I think we got enoug that it will be messy in spots.

Yes, and if I want to hold an event at a Genesee county park I would have to get their permission and may have to get permits and insurance.

See everyone in a few--got about a 1/2 inch of snow to cover up the mud and other yuck at the Mounds. Looks like it's gonna be cold, but then again, we are somewhat used to that during this weekend and probably would be disappointed if it were anything but cold.
