I need a gas cap for a 97 tj....don't know if they are interchangeable...but most likely are?

Mine seems to have disappeared :hehe:

It might be a long shot, but did you try the auto parts store?




And to answer your question yes it should be interchangeable with your generic run of the mill replacement gas cap.....at least the ones on my tj's were.

parts store? Wouldn't that be too easy? :hehe: I will try that, I have to take my starter back for the core charge today anyway.

Fotchmans should have them up by you, don't waist your money on one of those cheep locking ones, you can get them off with a pair of channel locks. Plus you have to have a really small hose to get by the rollover valve to steel gas from a tj.
