Then finally got the mirror apart and cleaned it up, put anti-seize in there and put it back together. Now it actually can collapse. You know how hard she is on mirrors right? :hehe:

Fabbed up some D-ring mounts. These will be welded front and back through the bumper. No face welds here.

MuddyPaws 3.0

She had a new clutch put in at a local shop. I have no idea what the failure was. She's gonna send it in to see if she can get some kind of warranty on it but she has to get to Sam's house for the other parts.

Nope. Power is not restored in the shop. Makes doing things a pain in the ass.

Rockers bedlined.

Finished the front bumper last night. Ready for paint along with the rock sliders.

Here the bumper end, sanded all up nice. Bumper is 2x4 by 1/4 inch thick tube fully welded and I believe it's air tight. Ben is going to build an on board air setup for EQ so maybe he will use the bumper as a small tank.

nice work tim.

while the bumper would probably work as an air tank, i have a two gallon tank to mount in her jeep. i just need to fab up the mounting brackets.

Gotcha

I didn't do anything special for you to use it as a tank. I didn't know what your plans were.

Seems the issue with the OX-Locker was that the housing wouldn't let the cover go on straight. There was quite a bit of rock rash. Bunch of sanding and that is fixed. Locker now locks and unlocks on the hoist. We'll see how it is on the ground.

Un-bent the bent sway bar and got the disconnects to line up again. I don't know who made these disco's but they are a pain in the ass.

Sliders done. The square tube is 3/16 thick. We were going to go with round but standing on round tube with muddy shoes sucks so we re-designed them for square stock. It will make getting in and out easier.

The D-Ring mount.

Installed. Has mounts for EQ's driving lights.

MuddyPaws 3.0

I'm going in early to talk to the maintenance department to see if the power can be fixed. Then I can finish the shifter and get the thing off the hoist and then work on the trailer.

But yea, if I get power there will be work to do...if no power then there is nothing more I can do at this point.

I swear I won't go to the bathroom there ever again:hehe:

Want me to come up there now? or tomorrow?

I can work on it with you today/tonight. If I take the vette I can be there in 40 minutes...the excursion takes me 25 minutes more:lol:

"should" be ready to go home.

You have to take your top off. I don't know how the thing works. Then we can paint the cage.

Got the box mounted, the shifter done and worked on the control arm mount. The control arm mounts need to be replaced with some blue torch fab ones. I welded it up the best it's gonna be for now.

Max is done. Loaded it on the trailer and sent Pam home a little bit ago.

We did a bunch more than just the fab work but not really pics of the stuff. You saw the list of crap. Things like making the passenger seat fold forward again and mount a new CB antenna, sanding the rear bumper and beefing up the spare mount plate. Capped the pivot of the swing out and added a grease fitting to it to make it swing nice. The sway bar was bent so we pressed that back into shape and the right side lower control arm mount was all kids of F-ed up. Needs BTF mounts put on there but it'll be ok for now. Put a new front wheel bearing in. Welded D-Ring tie down mounts to her new trailer and fixed the warped board.....sure I am missing something but there was a bunch of poop.

Thanks to trucks are for girls, Beefy and even Tacoma King for the help.

Rails/steps done and mounted.

Just couldn't wait for a box. Damn woman.

:hehe:Actually I couldn't. Ray said if I didn't get one, he was going to pick one out for me because he was sick of my shit rolling around the excursion. Then, he took everything out to put in, what MP called "his fancy f'ing chairs" and we didnt' realize he never reloaded my stuff...paint, tie downs etc.

Fortunately I had hidden a new tie down and bought the last two axle straps and ratchets at TSC.

They worked like a charm. Hey Mongo....these puppies will never let it roll off!!!!
