Stuff is happening all the time.

PM whiterino, he works with them quite a bit. There is a run later in the fall there. Pig Gig weekend.

It's still very limited. Only a few days a year open to full size rigs. From what I have seen, the owner is not real keen to opening it year round for the full size crew. Time will tell.

thanks.

moved back north so i am gonna be stuck this way more often.

seems theres alot of private places finally going, i been running south and way west since the late 90's due to all the crap and fines i was getting up here.

when i moved back to detroit it was just easier to head south to anywhere but michigan..not to mention better wheeling.

i would like to check out a few of these newer places. so it seems twisted trails is a decent place from a cursory glace here, and now drummond?

The park on Drummond is your most difficult, fully legal place. It can be as hard or as easy as you want it to be. Kinda nice with a mixed ability group going down there.

For about the same distance you can do Trestle Park in Canada up here, it's the craziest stuff I have ever wheeled but there is plenty of public land that is lots of fun. We go over there many times.

And welcome to Michigan Wheelers.

 Welcome!

Did you tell them you had it or just get searched and they found it?

bobbywalter

i wasnt sure if i had it....so i stumbled a bit.

needless to say, i really miss my first p89.

i got lucky, cause my judge had to get moved to hang a drug guy, as that judge was in a wreck. after hearing my deal they decided on fines and time served with full admission rights to canada...cause at the time i was living a few blocks off of 8 mile. and i just wasnt thinking about it as i always take it for granted...and was not planning to go over there...just a literal whim as my wife had never been there.

then the nice judge for the crown lady reviewed her dockett and shitcanned me forever, not to mention wanted me to serve two years.

i wanted to whoop my... (hot as hell she was too...i mean she was smokin hot, my wife hated her cause i had to have meetings ect) ....lawyers ass after that...cause i would have got burned hard. she didnt sell me that shit the right way...

i was just leaving the oil field then(but i am back now) and needed and still need to be able to go to canada for the higher paying work.

so uh....i am still paying for being an irresponsible idiot.

lesson learned.:thumb:

I wondered what happened to you, I haven't heard from you in quite a while. OSTC will be open in the middle of September for the weekend. It's worth checking out!

Glad you found this place!

Mines ready to go, but is still a work-in-progress (aren't they all?). Wifes jeep is still good!

I see you did the SAS/leaf spring swap. I haven't seen it since you had coils on it.

I'm going to try to make it. I've got an invitation to a new startup park in Tennessee in October and I've still got work to do to the CJ, plus the shop work so I may just have to take it the way it is.

I like it, it has just enough trail damage to look like you use it :hehe:
