I refuse to let the heat be used until January. We have blankets.

Tomorrow is the first day I will let it be turned on. Although I dont thin it will be on before Turkey day this year. Our bedroom dropped to 49* the other day.

havent touched the thermostat and it hasnt dropped below 70deg.

guess that's one perk about living in an apartment building that has a community water heater, when its just on the other side of a thin wall from your apartment. :flip:

I just have to laugh at the reason why (From what I have heard) you do not turn on the furnace. :hehe:

Had mine on for about 2 weeks now. In the 40's is too cold inside the house. I bought the house to be warm so I didn't have to live on the street, big deal if it costs me an extra $120 a month to heat it.

JoAnn heard something about your father in law not turning his on till December and you wanting to do the same. She could have mis-understood of course.

Oh no. She heard right. He does live in SoCal though.:ha::ha:

We finally turned it on tonight. It is up to 57*:woot::woot: The freeze is over.

Yea, that was the part I was laughing about, competeing in a furnace race with someone who lives somewhere that rarely sees 60 degrees. :ha: :ha:

Welcome to the world of warmth
