As posted on ORJ
As the date draws near I`d like to try and get a handle on who is coming and when ya gonna get here.
There is a post on MW about this event and a few of those folks are going to coming along with us.
A certain off road shop in Midland is likely to attend and MAY be bringing a hemi powered YJ for a shake down cruise.
Perhaps we could meet at the cabin on Saturday morning.

Then caravan into town for breakfast.
Times/head counts so we can work together.

I'll be there the 19th for sure! 9:00am at Johns place or the Hen House. the Hemi isn't going to make it up - the owner has other commitments. I'll be driving my own bucket 'O bolts!
I'm Looking forward to meeting everyone!

We would like to join in Saturday. We’ll watch the post for where and when. A few more from Houghton Lake may want to go; I will get a count and post later.

I'll be heading over friday night. Dont know if we'll be camping or looking for a room. If the weather looks good we'll camp. Any suggestions on camping and or lodging in the area? I will try to convince a few other west side jeepers to join.

OK, here is what is planed.Saturday the 19th in St. Helen. Exit 222 off I-75.
Meet at the Hen House restaurant in "downtown" St. Helen 10am . If you can`t find the Hen House then you should not be driving past the end of your driveway. Breakfast and then depending on how many show. We will take off into `DA woods in one or two groups. :woot:
Now remember you will need an ORV sticker for the DNR Scramble area. This IS NOT going to be a HaRd KoRe event/ride. Some good trails, a few hills and likely some mud holes. Nothing impassable but should be a lot of fun and camaraderie. Some trails we will run several times in different directions. For some folks this will be there first time out with a new rig. Some are testing the waters `per se.
Open for suggestions for lunch. Town, BYOS, dogs on a camp fire. Not my worry. Be nice if we could meet for dinner.:fryingpan:
Sunday is kinda open. If we have enough folks interested then perhaps we can make a run to Roscommon or Houghton Lake via the snowmobile trails or ?? :eq:

I suggest lunch in the woods , pack it with you . If something breaks , we get lost , are cornered by a Yetti no one goes hungry :hehe:

because it is so wet id suggest a motel . There are rooms in st helen or west branch . Pretty slow around here , no res required .
