Well, I posted this Monday but seems to have fell into the black hole on the server. I've had this done for almost a year now, but I am doing some updates as I write this.
I bought this 1972 Bronco off e-bay in the fall of 2003 for $1500 and then paid my dad to drive to Nebraska to pick it up for me. Got it off the trailer and immediately started tearing it down to the frame. Body was full of cancer, frame was solid and in need of a good scrubbing. I took 3+ years rebuilding it, mainly due to my business was getting in the way of my "fun time". I wired wheel the frame, primed and painted it with POR-15, replaced all the bushing and mounts, added dual shocks to all 4 corners. Rebuilt the engine, bored .020 over, aluminum heads, intake and Edelbrock offroad carb. Crager headers into custom stainless steel exhaust with stainless Borla mufflers. 4 wheel disc brakes, 3.5" suspension lift, 3" body lift. The body - Replaced the floors, hinge post, rockers, complete front end (original grill), fiberglass cobra hood, and door inserts. Electric Blue enamel on the body, with accents of Ford A-8 silver on the flares, bumpers and roll cage. I have a 8,000 lb Gorilla winch on the front, and a custome made spare rack on the rear.

Now I'm adding a full cage and 4.56 gears (Detroit locker in the rear, TruTrac LS in the front).
Should be "done" again next week.

If your wondering were "Bucking Bronco" came from ... I checked with the SOS and no one had it, so I had to get the vanity plate.

Tonight I will put the 3rd member back in the 9" rear axle, put the new Yukon axle shafts in and get that end buttoned up.
I'm off now to wire the CB and dome lamp. I'll add pics of that later.
