Today was the last day of asphalt season around here . I ran 9 hours in the truck hauling ass the whole time to get a job done and on my last load of the season i let my box down to head home and it didnt move .:banghead:
My truck and the paver were tangled together . One of the pins that latch my tail gate had gotten under the wing of the paveing machine . After some head scratching i pulled the pins on the gate and drove the truck away . Had a loader pick the gate out of the paver and put it back on my truck :hehe:
Boss didnt get pissy either , said shit happens . I sit in the truck and the paver operator gives me hand signals to go by . Thumb up means raise the box so i did . The operator happened to be the boss too :lol:
Damage , zero . Down time about 30 minutes . The last 2 trucks will be feeding the paver in the dark , oh it sucks to be them :lol:
