I dont know if this is the right place to post this so sorry if it's not... I need to replace the canvas on our pop-up and have no clue where to look for someone close to me that can.. There is a guy in Harrison, but dont want to use him, Does anyone have any suggestions or know someone that does this kind of work. Perferablly someone that isn't to expensive and doesn't take forever. Lots of camping planned! Thank for any help.

Have you tried any of the RV places like Beaverton RV? Otherwise I don't know any canvas people locally. RV place might be able to point you in the right direction.

Shame on you, Beaverton RV:eek:I ran that place for ten years, but I am the manager at Mt Pleasant RV:marv::thumbsup:

Kari the guy we talked about last night will probably be your best bet. The only dealer that can get your exact replacement canvas is Midland RV, but it would cost more than your camper is worth going that route.:marv::thumbsup:

Grandman's tip is a good one.

I just suggested Beaverton because I couldn't think of a RV dealership in Harrison or Clare.

I wish I knew you last spring, we bought an TT from A-B on M20. I'll have to look you up for any further purchases:thumbsup"

I found a website last night that will ship you a whole replacement canvas, you just have to put it on.:dirty: Will have to get info from camper and see how much that will cost, then call my super duper friend PurpleRhino:thumbsup: to come help me put it on. Cuz if Donnie and I were to work together, the canvas would not be on the camper it would be up his butt:fryingpan:

you could try contacting the manufacturer of your camper also. We have a Coleman and have ordered several replacement items directly through them. Things are easy to work on unless you snap a cable that cranks it up.

I have been looking and it looks like it's going to cost me almost $1000.00 to buy the replacement for me to do myself:cry: So on that note I think that the "duck-tape queen" will be getting some patch work done for now and will worry about complete relacement at a later date... Unless I find a super good deal somewhere

I know this is an old post, but I just saw it.
I replaced the canvas on my 82 Jayco last year. I bought a new canvas made by Jayco from Cloverleaf RV in Plainwell. I paid right around 500.00 for it. It is made of modern material, has tinted windows and fit like a glove.

Talk about a blast from the past but yea, it's good to know you can still get stuff for the older campers.

Mine is a 2000 or a 2002 so I have many years to worry about it, but still good to know.

We just ended up buying another pop up that is way bigger and has great canvas but the lift system is broke... I paid way less than it would have cost to replace the canvas on the smaller trailer.
