so I'm not sure when I'll ever finish my project, so I'm going to put up what I have for what I have into it just rounded down slightly.
$1000 gets you:
.040 over cleaned '88 4.0 block (not decked, by me at least)
deck has been checked for straightness a while ago, was fine, but has been on a stand a while
Cylinders have been kept oiled
4 counter weight crank - .010 under main - .020 under rod
pretty thorough rebuild kit:
new pistons - already pressed onto rods - rods are straight
rings
all new bearings main, rod, and cam
complete gasket set
high volume oil pump
Renix cam - stock replacement
lifters
timing chain and gears
freeze plugs and oil galley plugs
have original head - kinda grody and probably needs some work. Valves and pushrods have been labeled and placed in styrofoam
2nd complete '94? 4.0L HO - spun Rod bearing with aftermarket header - This engine ran, was driven home and removed.
several accessories including alternator and P/S pump, misc bracketries from both engines
flywheel and clutch assy off '88
Cam and crank have been stored vertically. original head was not.. oops. I might have some other stuff around too you can take with it, including some wiring harness (I think, been a while since I took the '88 apart). Price is firm as it is already slightly less than I have into it. I can get pics at some point if requested.
Some parts are in Big Rapids, some are in Davisburg. Gimme some advance warning where you want to pick all this stuff up so I can get it all in one place. Can deliver between BR and Davisburg along M57 as well. For a little more I can deliver elsewhere too.
