Samurai quits when I hit a road bump.

i've had a problem lately with my samurai. I can be driving along and if i hit a big enough bump/pothole or something, it will stall out the sammy. I will have to pull over and try to start it again, it won't fire right up, but roll over, and if i can hear it try to fire, i have to give it some major gas and then it will struggle to fire and finally take off. Any clue on why it's doing this? i mean it's weird, it will stall and as i'm still rolling, i can let the clutch out and it will fire but instantly quit...

yes. sorry, i forgot that the newer ones were fuel injected.
