so a guy who has been actively fighting and training and is 11 years younger beat the crap out of a has been who is overweight, out of shape and never had any skill to begin with.

Kimbo would still get killed in a real organization, only time will tell if he makes it to one. He better hurry though, with the explosion of the sport at 32 he is kinda old to just be getting into this high a level of competition.

Yeah, Tank Abbott is a relic of the early brawl days. And he looked like he was out of breath within 15 second in that fight.

I think, though, even a 32, in the heavier classes, he could have some productive years ahead, if he was any good. So many of the top dogs in those classes are fairly old.

I like watching the lightweight classes, those guys are crazy. Ever watch Urijah Faber? Jesus, he's like an enraged chimp on meth...

I still prefer Kimbo's back yard fights on home video.

Kimbo definately has a chance, but he is fighting age thats for sure. Look at guys like Chuck Lidell, Ken Shamrock, Tito Ortiz, Matt Hughes, etc. They were for a long time the best in the sport, 3 of them are 35 or younger and pretty much old and beyond their prime and are really going to have to work super hard to get back to the top of the game against all of the new younger talent.

Urijah Faber is unbelieveably explosive. The kid is a machine and very fun to watch. Did him and Jens Pulver fight yet? If they did and I missed it I am mad at myself.

You are right on some points, However you have The Natural one Randy Couture at 43 or 44 Kicking a$$ Rampage Jackson,Dan Henderson in there mid 30's also still at the top of there game. I think Kimbos down fall will be when he fights a top guy with ground skills that takes him down, then we will see how he can handle a arm, choke, etc. Kind of like Mir just did to Brock lesner, those big punchs arent much on the ground.
you are right it is a bit old just to get into the game.. Still enjoy watching Tank get is a$$ kicked
