Wow, you need the wives to not be there to have beer? :eq::poke::hehe:
Hell, my wife is a very straight laced, religious person who does not swear. Yet she is the one with the bottle of single malt around the camp fire. Some of the wives in our group have been known to get more drunk than the guys, although not too often. :mongo: p.s. We are a family oriented bunch of wheelers, with kids from 4 though teens with us on most trips. And parents ranging into the 80's. Damn sounds like Disny, fun for 4 - 80.
Oh, and sorry, no can do that time of the year. have early season plans in place and can not afford any more. WIll make the Badlands later this year though.

Not that our wives dont enjoy some beers when we are out but when its just the guys we tend to have a little to much fun. In fact at drummond last year myself and nick ended up chasing our ladys around the hotel in our under wear. It was fun.

I reserved ours yesterday. We got a 3 bed room and our putting 4 guys into it, little tight but we are cheap. And it is the same place. Hotel Attica. Look for a Red Dodge dually with my green bronco and a Red Ford super duty with a goose neck and a Tj on it. The other guys are coming down friday night and only going to wheel on saturday. Looks like this will be a good trip cant wait to meet you guys.

We're out (grandcherokee and Myself).... After some frenzied wrenching today, we just ran into to many problems and won't be able to get them done in time. List includes:
- Tie rod needs to be shortened and retapped
- Drag link needs to be shortened and retapped
- Wiring finished for the ARB's
- Rear driveshaft lengthened
- Front Driveshaft shortened.
- Tire care bolt pattern changed to 5x5.5"
All of those aren't really the issues though. We knew we'd have to deal with these in the time between tonight and the trip. the real problem was what we didn't expect.
- Stub shafts are too short and will need a new circle clip ring machined into them :pissed:
- We are short one stub shaft too. Originally we were going to use ford stubs (have cromoly's) but they were too short. :pissed: So we grab the "just in case the Ford's would be too short backup" chevy stubs (stockers) only to find out that they weren't chevy's but in fact another set of fords :pissed: . Have no fear though, we've got another set of chevy's in the spare shafts. . . only to find out that we had one chevy and one ford.... Son of a bi__ch :pissed: Even the chevy stub is too short (by like 2-3mm). . . :pissed: We think, no biggie, get another chevy stub and run with them after massaging them to fit but then the big problem...
- Rotors don't have clearance for the brake pads. :fryingpan::cry::lol: SO now, i've got to spend a day in the parts store trying to find a 5x5.5 rotor that has a shorter hat than the Ford that was "supposed" to fit. This is the part that I don't see us fitting in our schedules.
I'm going to see if I can work some magic, but as of tomorrow, I'll be canceling my reservation. Sorry guys, we'll have to try it again later in the summer....
