Looks really nice. I remember the Grand. Too bad it retired. A lot of good wheeling was done with that thing.

The videos look good too. I can't wait to see the GMC in person. Looks just as capable as the ZJ was.

Thanks guys

Iv made 5 mild runs with it so far , i think it may out perform the grand . Little lighter , little longer wheel base and narrower body . Closer to an XJ and the Grand would never follow the XJ i had prior .

I want to do that to the my 97 Sonoma I just got but want to go with Full Widths. Did you build your own front spring spring mount or buy it/

Every thing on there is Gm or G man built . Front springs are from the rear of a S 10 . I can carry one main leaf for a spare and use it on any corner that way .

I may cage it at some point .

XJ was a 87 purchased from Bronco4play during a heavy drinking session . I woke up owing him $2,500.00 after he and i closed the camp fire :hehe: It was his wife's grocery getter .

Brought it home and stripped it down . 6 " lift locked F & R 4:56 gearing and 32 " TSL home built bumpers and a warn 8000

It's demise , my 3 adult kids and i took it roof riding , they tend to fold under that kind of preasure . I did put a new top and doors on it . A friend of mine still has it , it wheeled canada last year with us and was at last years sno blind .

It was built like the Jimmy , 30 days or so tore down and back together for wheeling .

Is there any way I can get a pic of the front spring mount and how you did the front shackles.

Bye the way I love Old S-10 with the SOA swap on them. always a cool look
