I need a budget 2" lift kit for my 99 Jeep TJ (coil springs)
What manufacturer do you like? The Rough Country or other brand?
Thanks,
Doug

OME kit is nice. BDS makes a nice kit too.
I only have experience with RC on a XJ and it was many many....many.....uh....many years ago. Back then they were about the only player on the field for the XJ and the springs rode real nice. I hear it's not the case anymore. The neckethorn shocks that it came with sucked ass though. Bushings blew out all the time and were stiff. Replaced with rancho.
That said, I doubt a 2 inch spring kit is going to be very rough no matter who makes it.

Our BDS kit has worked well and stood up to normal offroad wear and tear plus towing our camper with only minimal sag after 4 years. And I prefer the BDS shocks over RC too.

Rubicon express comes to mind too... I've always liked their springs.
