Im pretty sure it should say what rear it is and if its ls on a sticker in the glovebox. Atleast it did in my buddies 97 dakota

Not that I'm aware of... Hrmm ill get the cover off it and take some pics and u guy's can tell me i have no clue on axels... I do know when i lift one tire even a little off the ground it spins... So if i have a lsd in it, it does not work at all lol

The clutch's could be warn out

check the glovebox and get some pic of the diff for us, the more of the inside the better :thumbsup:

Thats the one i was looking at when i found the chart. It wont fit in a ls carrier though. If you have a ls carrier you might be able to find a 8.25 open carrier and use the lockright

So........ Went to the dealership, I do not have a LS rear end.. have an open 8.25 29 spline :woot: Now i need a locker
