the right lower created a small clearance problem. thus the hillbilly fix.:eek:

and finally workin up the courage to begin the next phase which included sectioning the frame. if look close the frame was compromised at the point skid mounted.

not a problem on the t-case. it is tucked away on a shelf for you.
i was worried about frame rot on mine as well, but it looks solid for now. are you going to have to cut out a whole section of the frame or can you just cut and weld a small patch?
this one brought tears as these fenders were nice.:cry:

i was worried about frame rot on mine as well, but it looks solid for now. are you going to have to cut out a whole section of the frame or can you just cut and weld a small patch?
i cut out the bottom + about a 1/2 in up the side rolled a piece & stuck it in . 1st one was where the oem lower bracket was. then right side where the t-case mounted. that 1 was tricky as i had to add fasteners & make them line up.:banghead::dance2: musta messed up cause it worked the 1st time.:cheers: i'll get the pics up of this soon

the lights were also removed from the front bumper.
holy smokes. guess i was sleepin . i didn't even notice all those.:uh: I was refering to the sticker & the swaybar. & there's 1 more , the door hindge.:shrug: Lol
now with the oem swaybar out of the way we were able to suck the bumbper back 3 in.

and some test flex. the first 1 show rear stuffed. lots of rear steer. have to address that when we do the rear.

thats probably it until after DI as i dont think i'll have time to finish the rear. left to do is rear double triagulated, belly up , wb stretch ,psc steer box, track bar & currie steering

thanx. triangle ones came from T&T.was out there & they were on the lowrider build.thought they looked cool so got me a set. round one from peterbilt . if i remember right they are truklites.
