After putting larger tires your TJ you will notice that your speedo will be off. There is an easy fix to this. Replacing your speedo gears!.
this is a chart that can be used to detirmine what speedo gear you need

If someone needs a 36 tooth or a 39 tooth or a 40 tooth, I believe I have those three. I'm looking for a 37 tooth (to make the 39 available)

There should be a round tag on the back of your transfer case. It will have the model number.
We can help you further once you get that.

Mine has been on back order at Qtec for over a month now - anyone know if dealerships have them for tooth counts that were not factory setups?

Just specify the year, make, model of your rig and tell them the required tooth needed. I believe you should be able to get all the tooth as specified in the chart. Took them bout 2-3 days to get it in, god know from where. Good luck Paul!

Crashed and burned today - tried the dealer and Unlimited Offroad today, apparently everyone is waiting for Chrysler to make some more. "Backorder" is the word of the day.

i know this is a bit more than 15 bucks, but superlift makes a speed calibrator called "truspeed" about $215 but it is infinatly ajdustable and it will adj. all of thoughs that they do not make the right size gear for. Also can set it up for 2 diff. tire sizes
