Me
CJ-5, 36's, Locked, Winch
I am probably going to be there sometime Thursday afternoon/evening. The thought is to stay at Blueberry Hill Campground www.onblueberryhill.com
Friday looks like we may explore Queens Land, and run some trails around that area, and Saturday head to the Sault Tressel Offroad Park.
If anyone else has suggestions or wants to do something different, lets discuss it!

Sorry.. Cant make the Canada.. To many immigration problems.. Have fun..
I need a passport...
I was looking into that, but it's looking a little tight on time to make that happen. I was told up to 6 weeks at the post office.
Going to go the "enhanced michigan driver's license" route instead. 2-3 weeks supposedly. Crossing my fingers....
Hey everybody, what exactly are we in for on this Canada trip anyway? Obviously I've never been with you, so I'm blind as to what to expect. We're headed to a park or government trails or both? What kind of facilities will be available for sleeping/eating? Anyone have a packing list they use with stuff on it that people typically forget to bring? Is it "Ultimate Adventure" themed with "pack the stuff you need to survive on" your vehicle or are people tailering and packing the kitchen sink? Remote enough to need gascans?
Enlighten me please and thank you!

Or try a NEXUS ID. I have one for myself, wife and 2 kids... Gets issued through Customs themselves. It even gets you into the NEXUS Lane at all ports of crossing, allowing you to bypass the lineups and the Customs Interogations (provided you are NOT bringing anything you should be claiming:lech:)... just sayin'!!!!

we will be camping at Blueberry Hill Campground www.onblueberryhill.com This is about 20 minutes north of Soo Ontario. Most will arrive Thursday afternoon/evening (I would assume)
They have showers and bathrooms there for us to use. They have plenty of parking for trailers etc. They also allow us to wash our vehicles after the weekend. This is important because you are not allowed back into the United States without a clean vehicle (aka no mud). They do not want any foreign species entering the country.
On Friday, we will run some trails on the government land. This means we will leave Blueberry Friday morning sometime (9-10ish) and drive the highway to some trails. We will pack a lunch and wheel most all of the day. Friday night we will probably have a campfire and just hang out as a group. Maybe a night run if people feel up to it.
On Saturday, we are going to the Sault Tressel Offroad park. http://www.saulttrusseloffroad.com/
This is probably 10 minutes back south towards Soo Ontario. This park has all sorts of terrain. Probably do the same type of thing...leave 9-10am, pack and lunch and wheel all day. Saturday night, hang out as a group im sure. (If we arent doing a recovery/fixing broken vehicles at the park :hehe:)
We will leave Sunday morning/afternoon sometime.
As far as supplies...there is a gas station/restaurant/store just down the road from Blueberry. I don't think you will end up needing to pack extra gas on your vehicle(unless you burn lots of fuel), since we aren't doing expedition style wheeling. Bring common spare parts...u joints, ujoint straps/ubolts, spare axles (if have), spare tire, tools, recovery strap etc. A CB Radio is good to have (i need to work on mine:hehe:) and the ability to air down is a must.
The majority of trails in Canada that we will be running will be advanced to extreme. One locker is a must, and dual lockers are recommended. I would say 32-33" tires are a minimum. Large rocks/mud/hills are common, with body damage definitely a possibility.

NIGHTSHIFT AGAIN.....
:pissed:
ahhh..... but we are wheeling during the day.
Thanks for the info, exactly what I needed to know.
Looks like hardtops and windshield frames might be a bad idea for this mission huh?
Switched my Ranger weekend and applied for the enhanced license today, so, I'm pretty much in for sure.
Been balking at putting a locker in the front until I can afford to do front, (re-do the) rear, and new gears, but decided it would be a real good idea after watching the videos. Ordered a yukon lunchbox from Ironman. Figured it might save a little wear and tear on the winch and therefore it pays for itself right?
:hehe:
