View Full Version : Fuse 18
Can anyone tell me what fuse number 18 does in my jeep? (98 TJ). It's a 20 amp and it was blown but everything seemed to still be working. I replaced it and nothing changed. The owners manual labels it as "Acc: Optional". :wtf:

you have 2 accessoriy wires behind the glovebox, one red, one blue, one ignition switched, one that is constant hot. the cig lighter ties in with the switched one.
if these wires are still unmolested, they will be tagged
If you have a manual trans, plug a 10A fuse in the auto trans spot to disable pushing in the clutch to start
