Here is my newest project. Going to use it for big lake fishing. Got this 3 weeks ago. It a 1975 Slickcraft SS-235 (23.5') with a mercruiser 302 ford and a pre-alpha one outdrive. I bought this from a friend of my grandpa...It's been sitting for three years and he originally wanted 6K for it. Been trying to get it from him now for three years and i finally jewed him down. I got it for $1000. We originally agreed on 1200 but looking at it it needs bellows and a LOT of cleaning. All the wood is solid. I have a connection with a guy who ultra-sounded the haul and transom to make sure it wasn't rotten. The motor fired up and ran good...will need a tune up though. I'm going to go through the outdrive this year and planning on the motor next. It also came with 4 manual penn downriggers, 4 penn reels and poles, GPS, Fish finder, VHF radio, lures, etc.
This is how it look when brought home.

Yeah the current name of the boat it the "Rainbow Chaser" I know it's bad luck to change a name of a boat...but i think it will be okay! Plus i'm not going to be trolling for any trouser trout outside of Saugatuck.

I've stripped her down ... ripped off all the hooks, rails, seats etc. Took out all the carpet and cuddy cushions stuff was rough.
I'll get some more pics throughout the resto
