Well I have been working(very slowly) on an engine change in a 95 concord(front drive but the engine is still mounted like a RWD) just wondering if anyone on here has pulled one before. I'm going to bring it out the top I think(I'm working off the ground no hoist). I'm down to just the bell housing bolts and mounts I'll probably get around to it this weekend just wondered if anyone had input to make it easier.

well I suppose I might as well give an update not that I think anyone else will be doing this. The engine does come out the top pretty easily . I was afraid it at first because of the engine mounting style but it may be one of the nicest front drive engine swaps I've ever done. Still need to hook up everything on the engine but it's back in bolted to the trans and I started to get sick of working on it at that point so I left.

I dident see this thread before. Ive done one awhile back. Make sure you check both engines very carefully beofre you throw the new one in, there are slight differences between the years that can come back and bite you.
