Here it is, the Riddler 8.8 cover. Stopped a 44 mag in a test done by JP. I like it because it is a lipless cover and the bolts are somewhat out of the way.

First order of business was to get rid of the R and all the cast bumps and get it ready for powder coating. I'll powder coat it sometime this week.

Here is a pic of the inside.

Aren't you gonna shoot it first and see if it holds up?

44 mag???
thats not a test, 44 rounds widen out to much on impact spreading the force out over a wide aria
if its a hand gun test then they should have used a fully jacketed 357, something with some velocity and penetration

but a real test would have been a 300 win mag
it holds up to that i buy one:hehe:

Well, the 44 mag test was "how far does it dent in" so I guess spreading the force out is what you want. There were several covers that didn't hold up to a 44 mag. Some dented in far enough to hit the ring gear, and a few were penetrated by the 44.

Bling. Came with stainless bolts also. I know it'll get scratched up but gotta have the bling to start with at least.

Maybe it's my monitor but it's a darker red in real life.
