I would love to do a trip to the bad lands but I just can't go that far :sadpanda: 532 miles each way just is too far for me without about 2 weeks of time to play. I want a 60 before I do that...

I'd like to set up 2 more runs for the year for Michigan Wheelers, a weekend fall run to the island for sure and maybe an overnight to someplace else. We are also talking about doing a ladies only run or a ladies night run next time we do a weekend trip. :thumb:

Jim and I might be up for a Canada run this fall, but once a year on the island is enough. Would rather try someplace new instead.

I'd say if we do two fall runs, maybe Sept in Canada and Mid Oct to Early Nov for Drummond?
Gives us time to repair Canada damage? :hehe:

Damm Beefy.
for us in the Detroit area DI is about that far. I`d love to go to DI but a 1000 mile weekend is more then I want to do.
Now make it a week long event then it makes more sense.
I vote a MW trip to BL.

Team Kamikaze does the Badlands the first weekend after July 4 almost every year. Great fun trip. We do three wheeling days but when you add in two travel days, it makes a long trip. We will be having at least four rigs there this year. One rig that has not been there or to DI yet. We hope to have two different, (additional), rigs, (our kids and grand kids), at DI next year.
Of course we look forward to DI every year.
We are located just a couple of miles from the Mounds and it is fun, but usually not worth more than one day.
Our second home is Twisted Trails and they are doing a better job every month there. The Geezer's retirement home is within 20 miles of TT and I plan to be there a bunch.
We, (Team K), really need to try Rocks and Valleys soon so if the group gets something going there we will for sure.......otherwise we will be trying it out sometime on our own this summer.
Generally speaking we like the places where we can "beat on our rigs" a bit. The Geezer has a short attention span and he needs to keep the blood flowing and of course we have to keep the action on the upstroke often or the grand kids fall asleep.
Keep up the "talking it over"...............decide on a place...............if we can, we will be there! Canada sounds interesting........................
Did I mention we had a great time at DI again this year. Our "girls" loved it too!

Drummond was fun and all but once a year, or every other year, is fine with me. Outside of the park the wheeling isn't that challenging.

For me it isn't all about the challenging wheeling, but about the comeraderie as well. I would like to try new places too, but getting great, fun people together is the best part of all.

We'll see how I'm sitting this summer for cash at this point I don't see myself being able to swing a 1000 mile trip for wheeling the tow rig might get 9 mpg towing I just can't do that right now after building it I'm running low :sadpanda: I'm up for some Twisted Trails or Silver Lake or Rocks& Valles and of course Canada :thumb:

I have a small circle of people I enjoy wheeling with so it really wouldn't be fun without them but if I'm going to drive 7 hours (or more) to get together with them there better be one hell of a party or some great wheeling, preferably both.
