Rear cover for the 8.8. Made by Riddler Mfg. Lipless design and during a JP diff cover shoot out, it came out tops on the cast covers over ARB, RockCrusher and others.

Took a 44 mag and didn't bust it.

They had the 8.8 in stock but were out of stock for the d30 so I'll have to get that one later.

Lifetime warranty. I like the lipless design so it slides over rocks better.

You can make a diff guard that can protect just as well as that, without spending nearly as much......

Marv built one thats pretty basic but does the job. I built one as well, and I could get a couple pictures for you.

Just find a spare Dana 30 cover....torch the center part out, so that you have an outer ring, and built a guard slid off that. It worked real easy when I built one for my 44, and I am actually building one for the rear right now.

Don't waste you're money on a half cover, I got my ruff stuff front cover for about $100 and you'd close to that on a half cover. Depending on where you wheel, those may be okay but my worst dent on my front cover was in the spot I identified below. Obviously, the tubing would help in 99% of the situations cuz it would stop the jeep before it got to the cover but there is still the 1%...

not trying to dis your cover drummond, they are definitely an upgrade from stock and are a great inexpensivesolution when you make them yourself. I'm just a fan of the full steel cover.
