Nice job on the floors. I bought a XJ to turn into a wheeler and when I pulled the carpet I found this pretty much. I gave up and got a different XJ. :hehe:

Well we cut and cut and cut and still had more to cut. The rockers were gone too. The rust extended bad about half way up the firewall and the "frame" rails were paper thin.
I ended up finding a 2wd XJ in the junk yard for 300 bucks with no rust. Took the trans and tcase and front axle out of the rusty one and converted the 2wd to 4wd.
