So of course I'm a lazy ass and tried to roll down my window... yea so it broke... Made a loud snap, then about 10 miles down the road it decided to open. By open I mean fall about 10" and scare the hell outta me.. I think i ripped the thingy off the bottom of the window. I can roll it up but when i roll it down the window stays there, then falls randomly. So I'm pretty sure its the thing that holds the window at the bottom. Just wondering if its just a simple glue on peice or something else.

Im pretty sure the windows are held on with clips on the dakotas. Make sure your window regulator moves freely, its probably binding up and thats what caused the clips to pop off. btw, you should let us know if there manual or power windows

I said there the Windy windows

So no power windows for me... I talked to my roommate and he said that its glued in so that means i get to take it apart and re-glue it...

In my Dodge, they are glued in. It seems like every year I have issues with the drives window.
