Baked Bread Pudding
1 cup Bread cubes
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
2 Tablespoons Melted Butter
1/2 Teaspoon Vinilla
1 egg slightly beaten
1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 cup Sugar 2 cups Milk
I also add 1/2 cup raisins and 1/4 cup of chopped wall nuts
Combine sugar, salt, vinilla, butter, cinnamon, and egg. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly. add bread cubs and raisins. Mix thoroughly. Pour into well butterred baking dish. Set in pan of warm water. Bake in moderate oven (350 F. ) about 1 hr. or intill an inserted knife comes out clean. Cool serve with cream if desired.
