Thinking about throwing some weight back there, might just leave the 8.8 in there since it won't go in til spring. Whats best though and how much, its a ranger.
my plan is 200 lbs of sand, sound about right?

Shovel snow in there, spray it with water, repeat till you have a frozen block up to the top of the bed.

That'll work great.

You could do a hybrid type weight. Take 20 dead hookers, spray with water till frozen, then fill the rest of the way with snow. Spray with water till frozen. :hehe:

I threw some chunks of granite from the old barn foundation in mine, should be good for several hundred pounds, not sure exactly how much. 300lbs should stick to the pavement pretty well.

20 dead hookers=4,000 lbs??? Those would be some big hookers.

I would go with a couple hundred pounds of sand, rock salt, or kitty litter. This way if for some reason you get stuck on the ice you can cut open a bag and have a traction aid.

You need to find some thinner hookers then, 200lbs each is pretty big. :hehe:
