Memorial Weekend?

Hey all, I am trying to figure out a good date to host a weekend long pig roast/live band playing offroad event at Roger's. We were talking and he is game for the idea. We just need to get a date set in concrete so everyone can mark it down on their calenders. For those of you who have experienced the land their, you know it's potential when conditions are dry. TONS of fun. So after the winter season and things start drying up a little bit, me and Roger are going to host an event for everyone to join. We want to do a pig roast and have a band playing, bon-fire whatever. There will be room for campers (pretty much tent style, not a "camp ground" just his land, RV's welcome but no electricity or water). This event will run Friday-Sunday. Probably put together some different events, such as timed hill climbs, simple stuff like that. Admission for the weekend would probably only run maybe $30-40 for the weekend just to pay for the food and stuff. Just tossing ideas around right not. So if you have any suggestions feel free to post them.
So with that said, what are some open dates that everyone would be interested in attending this? Would you be down to attend? What are some things you would like to see for a FIRST Annual event such as this to make it worth while? I want to hear your input. Thanks everyone!:thumb:

My 2 Cents FWIW.
Schedule the event for a couple weeks before or after M. day. To much traffic family commitments tend to interfere with the Holiday weekend.

Good thought, Like i said i just want some input on when it would be convenient for everyone. I never do much for memorial day anyways. But i know others do.
